Amanda Groom
Amanda Groom is founder of The Bridge, linking international media markets between east and west and specialising in TV and film co-productions. The Bridge works in multiple content genres, has a hub in London and partner companies in China, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.
Amanda has successfully built and delivered multiple innovative pan Asian / UK / US global co-production models working with many of the world’s leading networks and broadcasters.
Amanda serves as Board Advisor / NED and is a member of the British Screen Forum. She is a frequent panel moderator for MIP & MIPcom; RealScreen, SunnySide & Asian Side. She served as a Judge on the Seoul Drama Awards (2017), Asian Academy Awards (2019 – 2021) and the Broadcast Digital Awards (2020 & 2021). She is a UK / Australian Media-Business Woman of the Year finalist and holds Friend of Australia status for digital media thought leadership.
